"Tarot cards" are a pack of 78 traditionally containing five suits, used for fortune-telling and (especially in Europe) in certain games. The suits are typically swords, cups, coins (or pentacles), batons (or wands), and a permanent suit of trump.
"Tarot Spread" is a method by which a tarot card reader chooses placement of the cards for viewing and then interpreting the card meanings for the one who seeks meaning. There are many different spreads used by card readers. this app provides a 7 card and 3 card ellipse layouts.
